North Star Bicycle Race

Follow me on Wednesday, September 10th as I try to ride my bike 630 miles!

The NSBR starts at Union Depot in St. Paul, MN

The North Star Bicycle Race is a self-supported single stage Ultra-distance cycling race.

630 miles, from St Paul, MN to the Canadian Border, and back. All pavement, many miles on bicycle paths. It will be a mental battle as much as a physical one. I’ve been preparing for months, and I am still scared. I don’t know if I can make it, but dammit am I excited to try! I LOVE that there are fellow crazies that want to test their limits and push themselves like this.

The human body amazes me, and I encourage you to find whatever your current challenge is and get after it! It won’t be easy. It will have heartache. It will have anger. It will hopefully have some acceptance as well. I’m grateful for all I have learned in the past few years of turning inwards, for the joy of moving my body, and for the lovely community surrounding endurance pursuits.

Check out the race website for rules and routes.

NSBR heads north to Canada before returning south via the same route.

Onwards.
